Arap\u00e7a, Fars\u00e7a, Frans\u0131zca, Latince ve Rumca bilen \u0130zmirli, mekteb ve medrese tahsili alarak, klasik \u0130sl\u00e2mi ilimlerin yan\u0131nda Bat\u0131 felsefesi, sosyoloji ve psikoloji gibi \u2018modern\u2019 ilimleri de okumu\u015ftur. \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nin (Daru\u2019l-F\u00fcnun) muhtelif fak\u00fcltelerinde hemen hemen b\u00fct\u00fcn ilimleri okutmu\u015ftur. Esas itibariyle bir m\u00fctekellim\/kelamc\u0131 olan \u0130zmirli, bu sahada <em>Yeni \u0130lm-i Kelam<\/em> isimli eseriyle \u00f6nemli ve etkili bir te\u015febb\u00fcste bulunmu\u015ftur. \u0130rili ufakl\u0131 yetmi\u015fin \u00fczerinde eser telif etmi\u015f olan \u0130zmirli, bereketli bir hayat\u0131n nihayetinde 31 Ocak 1946 tarihinde vefat etmi\u015ftir. Vefat\u0131 m\u00fcnasebetiyle d\u00f6nemin ayd\u0131nlar\u0131, b\u00fcrokratlar\u0131 ve siyasileri, gazete ve mecmualarda \u0130zmirli\u2019ye mersiye niteli\u011finde baz\u0131 yaz\u0131lar\/\u015fiirler kaleme alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Onlardan bir tanesi, Nurettin Artam\u2019\u0131n \u015fu d\u00f6rtl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcd\u00fcr; <em>Hakk\u00ee\u2019y\u0131 Hakka eyledik \u00ees\u00e2l \/ O\u2019na hasret \u00e7ekerdi \u0130bn-i Kem\u00e2l \/ Y\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fc Hakka Hakk\u00ee \u0130zmirl\u00ee \/ \u00c7ekeriz bizde \u015fimdi \u0130smi Cel\u00e2l<a href=\"#_edn1\" id=\"_ednref1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I. ve II. Me\u015frutiyet d\u00f6nemlerinde yeti\u015fen \u0130zmirli\u2019yi Osmanl\u0131\u2019n\u0131n son d\u00f6nemindeki di\u011fer ayd\u0131nlardan ay\u0131ran ba\u015fl\u0131ca \u00f6zelli\u011fi, Cumhuriyet D\u00f6nemini de m\u00fc\u015fahede etmesidir. Bu sebeple ortaya koydu\u011fu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar her iki d\u00f6nemin unsurlar\u0131n\u0131, m\u00fcspet-menf\u00ee etkilerini yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde \u0130zmirli\u2019nin tam manas\u0131yla tan\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve anla\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemek ger\u00e7ekten g\u00fc\u00e7t\u00fcr. Bunun g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr iki temel sebebi vard\u0131r, diyebiliriz. \u0130lki, eserlerinin pek \u00e7o\u011funu harf ink\u0131lab\u0131 \u00f6ncesi telif etmesidir. \u0130kincisi ise eserlerinin \u00e7o\u011funun belli bir arka plana sahip okuyucu kitlesine hitap etmesidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130zmirli\u2019nin eser verdi\u011fi geni\u015f ilim skalas\u0131na bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 zaman, \u201cilm-i kelam, \u0130sl\u00e2m felsefesi, ul\u00fbmu\u2019l-Kur\u2019an, ilm-i hilaf, ilm-i hadis, us\u00fbl-i f\u0131kh, mezhepler tarihi, tarih, tarih felsefesi, siyer vb.\u201d alanlar\u0131 g\u00f6rmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bunlar i\u00e7erisinde \u00fczerinde titizlikle, uzun y\u0131llar \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 alan ilm-i kel\u00e2md\u0131r. Bilindi\u011fi \u00fczere o, d\u00f6nemin ortak beyan\u0131 olan ilm-i kel\u00e2m\u0131n art\u0131k kel\u00e2m tarih\u00e7ili\u011fi mesabesine intikal etti\u011fini; fenn\u00ee, i\u00e7tim\u00e2\u00ee ve felsef\u00ee meseleleri takip ve cevap vazifesini \u00eef\u00e2dan uzakla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve kelam ilminin tekrar \u201cYeni \u0130lm-i Kelam\u201d\u00e7at\u0131s\u0131 alt\u0131nda eksiklerini giderecek bir \u015fekildein\u015fa edilmesi gerekti\u011fini savunanlar (Seyyid Ahmed Han 1817\/1898, \u015eibl\u00ee Nu\u2019m\u00e2n\u00ee 1857\/1905, Abd\u00fcllatif Harput\u00ee 1842\/1914, Filibeli Ahmet Hilmi 1865\/1914 ve bir\u00e7ok ayd\u0131n.) aras\u0131nda \u00f6nde gelen isimlerden birisidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130zmirli, <em>Sebil\u00fcrre\u015fad Mecm\u00fb\u00e2<\/em>\u2019s\u0131na vermi\u015f oldu\u011fu bir m\u00fclakatta, Yeni \u0130lm-i Kelam\u2019\u0131n hangi tarz (metot) \u00fczere yaz\u0131laca\u011f\u0131na dair k\u0131saca \u015funlar\u0131 s\u00f6ylemi\u015ftir; <em>-Yeni \u0130lm-i Kelam- Fen ile tecr\u00fcbe ile isbat\u0131 kabil olmayan hususat\u0131n imkan\u0131n\u0131 yeni mant\u0131k ile mant\u0131k-\u0131 tatbiki kavaidi ile isbat eylemi\u015ftir. Neyi kabul etmi\u015f ise an-burhan kabul etmi\u015f, neyi reddetmi\u015f ise yine an-burhan reddeylemi\u015ftir. Herkesin korktu\u011fu skolastik m\u00fcdafaat\u0131 kald\u0131rm\u0131\u015f, yerine metot dairesinde m\u00fcdafaa ikame eylemi\u015ftir. Felsefe-i haz\u0131ra l\u00fczumu derecesinde beraber gitmi\u015f, hem mant\u0131k-\u0131 s\u00fbr\u00eeyi, hem de mant\u0131k-\u0131 madd\u00eeyi elinde tutmu\u015ftur.<a href=\"#_edn2\" id=\"_ednref2\"><strong>[2]<\/strong><\/a><\/em> <em>Yeni \u0130lm-i Kelam <\/em>ismi ile kaleme ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 muhalled eseri, bu noktada \u0130zmirli\u2019nin tezlerini ihtiva eden ve bu alan\u0131n takip\u00e7ilerine num\u00fbne-i imtis\u00e2l niteli\u011finde bir eser olmu\u015ftur. \u201cKe\u015ff-i kad\u00eem yap(a)mayan, vaz\u2019\u0131 ced\u00eed yapamaz.\u201d kabilinden \u0130zmirli\u2019nin \u0130sl\u00e2m felsefesi\/hikemiyat\u0131, filozoflar\u0131 ve tarihi ile Bat\u0131 felsefesi ve felsef\u00ee doktrinleri hakk\u0131nda yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 eserler \u201cYeni \u0130lm-i Kelam\u201danlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n bir neticesidir.<a href=\"#_edn3\" id=\"_ednref3\">[3]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2018 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n sonlar\u0131nda Melik\u015fah Sezen\u2019in direkt\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve edit\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde, \u00c7izgi Kitabevi taraf\u0131ndan \u201c\u0130zmirli \u0130smail Hakk\u0131 K\u00fclliyat\u0131 Projesi\u201d ba\u015flat\u0131ld\u0131. \u0130zmirli\u2019nin eserleri i\u00e7erisinde daha \u00f6nce hi\u00e7 ne\u015fri yap\u0131lmam\u0131\u015f veya ne\u015fredildi\u011fi halde unutulmu\u015f eserleri \u00f6ne al\u0131narak, tenkitli ne\u015firleriyle bir \u201c\u0130zmirli Kitapl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u201d olu\u015fturuluyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130zmirli\u2019nin son eseri olan ancak vefat\u0131 sonras\u0131nda bas\u0131lan <em>\u0130sl\u00e2m M\u00fctefekkirleri ile Garp M\u00fctefekkirleri Aras\u0131nda Mukayese<\/em> isimli eseri ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz sene Melik\u015fah Sezen\u2019in notlar\u0131 ve de\u011ferlendirme yaz\u0131s\u0131 ile bu projenin ilk \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc olarak kisve-i tab\u2019a b\u00fcr\u00fcnd\u00fc. Bu eser ilk olarak 1952 y\u0131l\u0131nda S\u00fcleyman Hayri Bolay\u2019\u0131n notlar\u0131yla Diyanet \u0130\u015fleri Ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Yay\u0131nlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan ne\u015fredilmi\u015fti. Bolay\u2019\u0131n haz\u0131rlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bask\u0131yla, proje dahilinde \u00c7izgi Kitabevi\u2019nden \u00e7\u0131kan bask\u0131y\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z vakit \u00e7ok farkl\u0131l\u0131klar g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Sezen\u2019in de belirtti\u011fi gibi; \u201cBolay\u2019\u0131n eser \u00fczerindeki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131, eserin ilim \u00e2leminden uzak kalmamas\u0131 i\u00e7in takdire \u015fayan olsa da teknik hatalar\u0131 bertaraf edecek bir \u00e7apta olmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u201d Ayn\u0131 zamanda filozoflar\u0131n terceme-i h\u00e2llerine dair dipnot d\u00fc\u015fm\u00fc\u015f olsa da bir\u00e7o\u011fu k\u00e2s\u0131r\/n\u00e2k\u0131s kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Sezen, kitab\u0131n i\u00e7erik k\u0131sm\u0131nda muhteva y\u00f6n\u00fcnden herhangi bir tasarrufta bulunmam\u0131\u015f ve eseri, \u0130zmirli\u2019nin kaleme ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015fekle s\u00e2d\u0131k kalarak haz\u0131rlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r; dil a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan herhangi bir sadele\u015ftirme yapmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bunun haricinde kitab\u0131n giri\u015f k\u0131sm\u0131nda esere ne gibi katk\u0131lar sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmi\u015f ve \u201c\u0130zmirli \u0130smail Hakk\u0131 Efendi\u2019nin Terceme-i H\u00e2li ve Mukayese \u00dczerine\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 alt\u0131nda esere dair k\u0131sa ve esasl\u0131 bir de\u011ferlendirme yaz\u0131s\u0131 kaleme alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eser, isminden de anla\u015f\u0131laca\u011f\u0131 \u00fczere Do\u011fu ile Bat\u0131 aras\u0131nda ilm\u00ee bir kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rma ve halef-selef tespiti sunan muhtasar bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmad\u0131r. Y\u00fcz kadar Bat\u0131l\u0131 m\u00fctefekkir ile yine bir o kadar M\u00fcsl\u00fcman \u00e2lim ve pek \u00e7ok felsef\u00ee ekol hakk\u0131nda bilgi veren eser, bu \u00e2limlerin kimli\u011fine ve felsef\u00ee ekollerin mahiyetine dair a\u00e7\u0131klay\u0131c\u0131 hususlara girmiyor. \u0130\u015fte bu noktada Sezen\u2019in notlar\u0131 hemen hi\u00e7birini atlamadan t\u00fcm\u00fc i\u00e7in okuyucuyu doyuracak nitelikte i\u015f g\u00f6r\u00fcyor. Yine kendi notlar\u0131na dair kitab\u0131n sonunda bibliyografya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ve kitab\u0131n b\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fcne dair bir indeks \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 yapmas\u0131 kitab\u0131 daha kolay bir \u015fekilde okunur h\u00e2le getiriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eserde dikkat \u00e7eken \u00f6nemli bir husus ise bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn tek\u00e2m\u00fcl (\u00e9volutionnisme) nazariyesine tahsis edilmi\u015f olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Yukar\u0131da da belirtti\u011fimiz gibi bu eser, \u201cYeni \u0130lm-i Kelam\u201dsavunucusu olarak bilinen \u0130zmirli\u2019nin \u201cUs\u00fbl\u00fc\u2019d-D\u00een\u201d ad\u0131na durdu\u011fu yer ve b\u00fct\u00fcnc\u00fcl bir yakla\u015f\u0131m ad\u0131na g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi gayreti yans\u0131tmas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan gayet m\u00fchimdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz g\u00fcnlerde projenin ikinci \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc olarak \u0130zmirli\u2019nin, <em>Tarih-i Kur\u2019\u00e2n<\/em>\u2019\u0131 ne\u015fredilmi\u015ftir. Yine Melik\u015fah Sezen taraf\u0131ndan haz\u0131rlanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, Cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminin ilk Kur\u2019\u00e2n tarihi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 yeniden ilim ehlinin istifadesine sunmas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemlidir. Sezen, t\u0131pk\u0131 <em>Mukayese<\/em>\u2019de oldu\u011fu gibi metni notland\u0131rarak, (metnin orijinal yap\u0131s\u0131na dokunmaks\u0131z\u0131n) eserin giri\u015fine \u0130zmirli\u2019nin <em>Tarih-i Kur\u2019\u00e2n<\/em>\u2019\u0131 hakk\u0131nda yaz\u0131lanlara y\u00f6nelik etrafl\u0131ca bir de\u011ferlendirme yaz\u0131s\u0131 kaleme alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu b\u00f6l\u00fcm ciddi bir emek mahsul\u00fcd\u00fcr. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u0130zmirli\u2019nin do\u011fru anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na katk\u0131 sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in Sezen\u2019in yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 izahlar, eserin \u00f6zg\u00fcn metninden daha hacimli bir hale gelmi\u015ftir. Kur\u2019an tarihine dair birtak\u0131m tart\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n s\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc bir d\u00f6nemde hacmi k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck fakat faydas\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck olan bu m\u00fctevazi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n da meseleye k\u0131ymetli bir katk\u0131 sunaca\u011f\u0131 a\u015fikard\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00f6z konusu iki eserin ard\u0131ndan \u201c\u0130zmirli \u0130smail Hakk\u0131 K\u00fclliyat\u0131 Projesi\u201d nas\u0131l devam edece\u011fi konusunda edindi\u011fimiz bilgilere g\u00f6re; evvela \u0130zmirli\u2019nin daha \u00f6nce hi\u00e7 ne\u015fredilmemi\u015f (yazma halinde kalan) eserleri okuyucu ile tenkitli ne\u015fir formunda bulu\u015fturulacakt\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca Sezen\u2019in edit\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde y\u00fcr\u00fcyecek projeye pek \u00e7ok farkl\u0131 ismin katk\u0131 sa\u011flayaca\u011f\u0131 ve nihayetinde \u0130zmirli\u2019nin bilhassa yazma h\u00e2lindeki eserlerinin t\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fcn g\u00fcn y\u00fcz\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131laca\u011f\u0131 son derece sevindirici bilgilerdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e2lihaz\u0131rda \u0130zmirli\u2019nin ilk defa ne\u015fredilecek <em>Tarihin L\u00fcz<\/em><em>\u00fbmu<\/em> isimli risalesinin farkl\u0131 iki yazma n\u00fcshadan haz\u0131rland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ve bas\u0131m a\u015famas\u0131nda oldu\u011funun bilgisini m\u00fcjdeleyebiliriz. Bu eser, \u0130zmirli\u2019nin Cumhuriyet \u00f6ncesi yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 fakat ne o d\u00f6nemde ne de Cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminde yay\u0131mlanma imkan\u0131 bul-a-mayan, yazma halinde kalm\u0131\u015f bir risalesidir. Bu eser isminden de anla\u015f\u0131laca\u011f\u0131 \u00fczere Tarih ilminin gereklili\u011fini ve \u0130slam Tarihinin \u00f6nemini, M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n Tarih ilmine hizmetlerini ve M\u00fcsl\u00fcman tarih\u00e7ileri konu edinen bir eserdir. Eser \u015fu haliyle bile bizlerde ciddi bir merak uyand\u0131rmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130zmirli\u2019nin daha \u00f6nce yay\u0131nlanmam\u0131\u015f kel\u00e2m\u00ee ve felsef\u00ee eserlerini \u00f6ne alarak devam edecek olan k\u00fclliyat projesinin, Osmanl\u0131\u2019n\u0131n son d\u00f6nem di\u011fer \u00f6nemli \u00e2limleri\/m\u00fcnevverleri ve eserleri i\u00e7in de \u00f6rnek ve \u00f6nayak olmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00fcmit ediyoruz.
